One thing you can be certain you'll find in Germany is a park. This is probably the case for a city in any part of the world, whether big or small there is going to be a park.



In Germany, summers are best enjoyed grilling with friends at a park, near a lake or at the beach.

10 things to do in Hamburg.
With our return to Hamburg a month and a half away I have researched things to do in the city during the summer that will keep us occupied until school starts in September. While Leisure itself can be many things, I find leisure in spending time with my family. 


Here are five outdoor and five indoor activities available in Hamburg.


Outdoors

Go for a hike in Wildgehege im Klövensteen Försterei  A large forest, open to the public.

Planten und Blumen, the Wallanlagen (wall systems)
Where: between Dammtorbahnhof & St. Pauli 


Botanic garden at the Hamburg University 

Open: 9:00 to ~20:00
Where: Hamburg S-Bahnhof Klein Flottbek.

Hirschpark, a deer park in Blankenese 
Where: Hochkamp, bus 36 gätgensstraße 

Park fiction.

Antonipark or "Park Fiction" provides relaxation and experience overlooking the Elbe and the Hamburg harbor. bus 112 from Central Station direction Neumühlen / Övelgönne to stop Hafentreppe 

Indoors

Zoological Museum 
When: Tue-Sun 10:00 – 17:00  
Where: Martin-Luther-King-Platz 3, 20146 Hamburg 


Geological Museum Highway 55 (the Geomatikum) 

When: Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00 Są: 9:00 – 12:00 

Museum Oevelgönne is a berth for traditional ships. The ships will be restored and presented to the public in driving. The Harbour Museum is free and accessible Mon- Sat 12:00 – 22:00 Sun: 12:00-21:00 


German Customs Museum The work of customs in the past and present

Open: Tue-Sun 10:00 – 17:00 
Price: 2€ Adults 
Where: Alter Wandrahm 16, 20457 Hamburg 

In the center of the Planten un Blomen park you can find a tropical greenhouse complex, 
Open weekdays 9:00-16:45 są, so: 10:00-17:45, free admission.

Or if you have time you can visit one of Hamburg's many Libraries. Bücherhallen
